Sports Goggles

Do kids need sports glasses or goggles?

YES! Sports goggles designed for kids will help keep their eyes safe. Nine out of ten eye injuries during sports are preventable with proper sports eyewear. Sports that pose the highest risk of injury are baseball, basketball and racquet sports. Fishing and full-contact martial arts also have a high incidence of injury to the eye. The lenses in sports goggles are made of an impact resistant material called polycarbonate, perfect for hockey, basketball, and tennis. If you already wear regular glasses or contacts they will not provide you with sports eye protection and contacts can actually absorb irritating dust and debris. Sports goggles are the way to go!

Here at Shoultz Eye Care we have a variety of sizes and colors for your child to choose from.
